Meghan Drager

MSW, LISW-CP (SC), LCSW (VA)

No Matter what you’ve been through what you’re facing, growth and healing are always possible.

Hi! I’m Meghan Drager, a Licensed Independent Social Worker–Clinical Practice (LISW-CP) in South Carolina and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia. I am deeply committed to my work in the helping profession and continually expand my expertise to stay current in this ever-evolving field, ensuring that I uphold the highest standards as a clinician and provide high-quality, evidence-based care tailored to each client’s unique needs.

I specialize in addressing a range of concerns, including substance use, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and trauma. My approach is warm, person-centered, and strength-based, emphasizing collaboration, building on your existing strengths, and developing new skills in a space where you can feel safe to show up as you are.

I became a therapist because I believe everyone deserves someone in their corner. In my “virtual therapy room”, you’ll find a safe, supportive space for your story—wherever you’re starting. You will find real support for real life. And you will find a place where growth, healing, and lasting change come together. No matter what you’ve been through or what you’re currently facing, growth and healing are always possible. I consider it an honor to work alongside my clients as they gain insight, build confidence, and achieve their goals. Whether you need a safe space to process, someone to hold you accountable, or practical skills for navigating challenges, I am here for it.

Outside of therapy, I am a mom of two kiddos, who keep me on my toes and fill my day with laughter and joy. I love watching them explore and grow, and they constantly remind me of the importance of patience, curiosity, and celebrating small victories – lessons I bring into my work with clients every day.

Meghan’s Services

For Adults Ready to Heal, Grow, and Move Forward
Life can feel overwhelming—and sometimes, even the strongest people need support. When you’ve tried everything you can and you’re still stuck, I can help. Using evidence based therapy models I can help you uncover harmful patterns, build emotional resilience, and take meaningful steps toward the life and relationships you want. Whether you’re drowning in work stress, trying to recover from decades of trauma, or struggling setting boundaries, I’ve got you.

Individual Counseling

Helping Kids and Teens Feel Seen, Heard, and Supported
Children and teens often communicate through behavior rather than words. If you’re trying everything to help and nothing is working, you’ve come to the right place. Using age-appropriate techniques like play therapy, video games, and solution-focused strategies, I help young clients process big emotions, build coping skills, and strengthen their relationships at home and school. I work closely with caregivers to ensure your child feels safe, empowered, and understood every step of the way.

Children & Adolescents

Sometimes Talk Isn’t Enough
I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). EMDR is a powerful, evidence-based therapy that helps people heal from trauma, anxiety, and other distressing life experiences. Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR uses bilateral stimulation (like guided eye movements or tapping) to help the brain reprocess painful memories so they no longer feel as overwhelming or “stuck.”

If you’ve experienced something that still feels heavy—whether it’s a big trauma or smaller moments that left a lasting impact—EMDR can help you find relief, gain clarity, and move forward with more peace and resilience.
