Leading you to the “ah ha” moments when you need it most

Hi! I’m Meghan Drager, a Licensed Independent Social Worker–Clinical Practice (LISW-CP) in South Carolina and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia. I am deeply committed to my work in the helping profession and continually expand my expertise to stay current in this ever-evolving field, ensuring that I uphold the highest standards as a clinician and provide high-quality, evidence-based care tailored to each client’s unique needs.

I specialize in addressing a range of concerns, including substance use, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and trauma. My approach is warm, person-centered, and strength-based, emphasizing collaboration, building on your existing strengths, and developing new skills in a space where you can feel safe to show up as you are.

I became a therapist because I believe everyone deserves someone in their corner. In my “virtual therapy room”, you’ll find a safe, supportive space for your story—wherever you’re starting. You will find real support for real life. And you will find a place where growth, healing, and lasting change come together. No matter what you’ve been through or what you’re currently facing, growth and healing are always possible. I consider it an honor to work alongside my clients as they gain insight, build confidence, and achieve their goals. Whether you need a safe space to process, someone to hold you accountable, or practical skills for navigating challenges, I am here for it.

Outside of therapy, I am a mom of two kiddos, who keep me on my toes and fill my day with laughter and joy. I love watching them explore and grow, and they constantly remind me of the importance of patience, curiosity, and celebrating small victories – lessons I bring into my work with clients every day.

Meghan’s Services

You don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone—everyone, even the strongest among us, benefits from support. I work with adults facing a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship struggles, and feelings of being stuck or overwhelmed. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, helping clients gain insight into patterns, strengthen coping skills, and move toward greater clarity, balance, and a deeper understanding of themselves.

Individual Counseling

I support children and adolescents experiencing emotional and behavioral concerns, including anxiety, depression, and common stressors related to school, family, or life transitions. Using developmentally appropriate interventions, I help young clients better understand and express their emotions, build effective coping skills, and foster healthy development, self-esteem, and resilience. When appropriate, I involve caregivers to strengthen communication, provide psychoeducation, and collaborate in supporting the child’s growth and well-being.

Addiction

I specialize in working with individuals at all stages of addiction and recovery. In a supportive, nonjudgmental environment, we explore patterns, uncover the underlying factors contributing to addiction, strengthen motivation, and develop healthier coping strategies to support lasting change and sustained well-being.

I specialize in helping individuals heal from the effects of trauma by providing a safe, supportive space to process experiences at your own pace. Using evidence-based approaches, we work to reduce distressing symptoms, restore a sense of safety, and support your journey toward empowerment and wholeness. Healing from trauma is possible, and it begins with being truly seen, heard, and understood.
